Hello Band,
How's your rests going on!
These are 3 MAIN
survival guides for the Sec 3s tho'. 1. Withdrawal of Band Room keys.
Call the teachers in charge for the day & kindly ask the keys from them. IF none of them are contactable, please call the majors and also kindly ask them to fetch the keys for you.
2. Band I/Cs.
Work closely with the conductors and let them decide who will be the band I/C for the day. Or you can decide who is going to be the I/C but don't forget to tell the conductors before every practice. Inform them the night before or plan during every-after-practice is also fine~ I/C should be in pairs and every Sec 3 band members should play the role. So don't miss out anyone! Time to show your leadership skills after your 3 years of experience!
3. Attendance.
One of you I/C should be in charge of the band's attendance (the other one will lead the band). Do refer to previous month's attendance for reference. There's two lists. One is according to sections. The other is according to classes. The one according to sections is for fall in. The one according to classes is the copy for the clerk to key in into the school attendance system (you would have to transfer the attendance according to the sections to this one (to be handed in on the last practice of the month, collected by TIC). Absentees Book should be updated constantly for the TIC's reference. Claim forms will be explained personally (It's the plain black ring file; not the black ring file with the band logo). &Don't forget the sec 1s!
Don't panic.
All of us went through all these!
It looks easy!
Ironically, It's seriously not.
You can always call the majors down, and ask them for help if you need it. THESE ARE JUST LITTLE TIPS WE THOUGHT YOU MIGHT NEED . We'll still be around (up there in the 3rd&4th level) because we got extra long school hours than the rest of the school so ... feel free to call us down if you seriously need help.
-Sec 4 Committee.
PS: Goodest luckiest! (Good luck to the max) :p
