Before i say my goodbye(s) to the band blog,
On behalf of the Ex-Majors of Year 2008-2009, we'd like to thank the EXCO&SLs of Year 2008-2009 for going through thick and thin of raising up the band as a whole; & sacrificing priceless hours of EXCO meetings&extra hours of band to do... All sorts of band stuffs with us. W/o you all i think the majors will be in mental hospital right now. We'd also like to thank alllllll the 5 teachers-in-charge for coming down for band early in the morning (when the neighbourhood was still sleeping) to check on the band&the attendance. You have given us ample support and motivation +++ all the lame jokes and funny faces when all of us are stressed. The conductors, Mr Faizal & Mr Phua, for being there with us, eversince we first laid our little stinky feet into the band room, 4/5 years ago and watch us grow up and be great players of the band. Whoo! Our parents, who painstakingly find our beds empty each morning. &return from work to find us sleeping at night. &also giving us many many many lovessss and supporttttt, and sometimes even wonder 'How come my child keep on going to school for more band, how come they don't get bored of it one...Aiya'. But then when they watch us play, they'll go 'Woah, eh that's my child!' Of course Y-O-U; for being very co-operative and turn to be a better person that we are proud to see. On behalf of the graduating batch, thank you for giving us one of our best years in band. All the bickering and the late nights and the screaming and teasing and chasing and the laughing-out-very-loud and the push ups! Great times~ On behalf of the Majors, I'd also like to Congratulate all the new Majors, Secretary, EXCO&SUBCO (Executive com. & Sub Com.) , SLs & the new band members of Yuying Concert Band, the Secondary 1s & some of the new comers of Secondary 2s! May all of you bring the band to greater heights, for i see potential in all of you! Soon, these tasks will be your daily schedule & you can do everything in a zap! In times of troubles and you need a familiar voice, we'll be there. But I'm sure this new batch should start off just fine~. OK! Amanda&the EXCO shall be the daily blogger now.
